Waste Not, Want Not
In Massachusetts alone, 700,000 people don’t know where their next meal is coming from. Meanwhile, 40 percent of the food produced in the U.S. is thrown away before it ever reaches a plate. How can potentially wasted food go to people in need? A local Boston non-profit called Lovin’ Spoonfuls is solving the problem–one box of food at a time.
